Cannot print some sheets in excel 2007

Here is a weird situation.

I cannot print one sheet in a multiple sheet workbook.
The print preview shows exactly what I want to print.
When I print the job shows up in the printer dialogue box as printing, but nothing actually happens at the printer.
 I've opened the print job
box, it shows the print job arrived, status is changed to printing, then it disappears as if it was completed.
 There are no error messages.
If I print different sheets in the same spreadsheet they print normally.

This workbook is shared with several people on a network.
I've tried to print the same sheet from a different computer (Running Vista) and the same problems.
I tried on a third computer on the same network which is running XP and it WILL print.

I'm stumped on how to fix.
I can easily print other excel workbooks, documents, web pages, emails, etc.
Just not one specific sheet in a workbook.
It seems to be an Excel problem.

The printer is a HP Office Jet Pro 8500A.

Thanks

JIM

Sounds like a printer driver problem to me.
I have seen several problems with printers in the past, try contacting the manufacturer and explain your problem.

Cleaning your computer, components, and peripherals help keep everything in good working condition and helps prevent germs from spreading. You can't image how dirty the inside of your computer case can get. All the dust and dirt is going to prevent proper air flow and may even prevent the fan from working.

We do not guarantee that problems resulting from the incorrect use of Registry Editor can be solved. Use Registry Editor at your own risk.

To manually repair your Windows registry, first you need to create a backup by exporting a portion of the registry related to MACHINE_CHECK_EXCEPTION (eg. Windows Operating System):

  • Click the Start button.
  • Type "command" in the search box... DO NOT hit ENTER yet!
  • While holding CTRL-Shift on your keyboard, hit ENTER.
  • You will be prompted with a permission dialog box.

I have a Dell laptop and the c drive is virtually full, such that some of the larger updates cannot be downloaded.

"Username and password do not match. You provided *****"

For the past 2 weeks or so, I am receiving an error window on system bootup.
The window reads:
"Username and password do not match.
You provided ***** " .
(***** being the actual name, but it does not indicate whether it is the username or the password, or the associated application.)

The name given is an email address prefix, which I use in many apps or login sites on the web, so I assume it is a username and not a password, as I never use this as a password.

There is no indication as to what application is being affected by this error, nor do I find any application that is not working because of it.
Other than this error, the system boots up normally, and I cannot find any failed application caused by this problem

I have searched the Event Viewer as well as my experience allows, and find no reference to this error in the logs, at least so far.

Is there any way to find out what app is trying to 'log in' with these credentials on system bootup (hopefully other than a one-by-one exclusion of each app in msconfig startup config)?

Where would I find the detail log for this error in the Event Viewer?

Thank you

Doug
